This is an original pastel painting that has recently come back on the market. It was purchased from me about 17 years ago by a lovely couple in the San Diego area.

The client recently told me “Please, have no doubt that I have loved this painting and have taken it from home to home over the past 15-20 years. I have absolutely gotten every minute's worth of enjoyment out of it."

Unfortunately, her husband has quite suddenly passed away and she finds herself in a position of needing to sell the painting. I am trying to help her find a new home for the work.

The painting is titled “Shadows of Lace”. She is a study of the play of sunlight filtered through a lace curtain at the window, and the effect of the shadows on a woman's body. It is an original pastel on sanded pastel paper. The painting is archivally custom framed with glass and can be shipped or delivered anywhere in the country. The asking price is $4,500.00 (includes shipping), which is substantially lower than the original pre-recession selling price.
